I spent 3 nights in Noosa.
There was a lot of relaxing on the beach, eating good food and swimming in the sea.
For the foodies out there, I highly recommend visiting Zachary's Gourmet Pizza Bar for great pizza, pasta and cocktails. I would also highly recommend going to Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream for THE best ice cream (get the hundreds and thousands dipped cone!).
We left the beach one day and went to Noosa Everglades. We were going on a cruise and canoe adventure.
We were picked up at 8am from near our hostel and taken to the Everglades. We boarded the boat and taken to out to the middle of the lake where the guide pointed out certain landmarks. We then went upriver to the canoe spot. Those of us that wanted to canoe were told it was a 4km paddle to the pick-up spot and would take around an hour to get there. We jumped in the canoes and off we paddled. Along the river we went, enjoying the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
It took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to the pick-up spot, but we were stopping to take photos and just take in the beauty of the area. We had a break of juice and cake on land before getting back on the boat to head back for lunch. We had a BBQ lunch which was nearly interrupted by a goanna wandering through the lunch area.
